- What exactly does the Chamber do? What is your purpose?
The mission of the Fife Chamber is to "promote commerce, and assist area businesses." We strive to achieve this by being a central force in the Fife, Milton, and Edgewood communities and a place where local businesses can access resources and interact with other members of the business community.
- May I attend functions as a non-member?
Yes, you may attend one event as a non-member. In fact, attending an event is a good way to discover the benefits of being a Fife Regional Chamber Member.
- What is the basis for your annual dues structure?
Membership dues are based on the number of full time employees supported by the company.
- How can I get involved?
The Fife Regional Chamber of Commerce has several committees to get involved with as well as many networking activities.
- What type of activities do you sponsor?
The Fife Regional Chamber sponsors a variety of programs throughout the year. Regular monthly events include Membership Luncheon, Chamber After Hours, and Coffee Clatter programs. - What is the ratio of small to medium size businesses compared to large corporations?
The Fife Regional Chamber is made up mainly of small-to-medium size businesses (approx. 80%); Large corporations make up about 20% of our membership.
- Do you have Chamber members that are not Fife-based businesses?
Yes we do. Approximately 80% of our members are located in the Fife, Milton, Edgewood area, 20% are based in Tacoma, Pierce County, and other outlying areas.
