Committees

Ambassadors:  The Ambassador committee was founded in 1996 to assist the Chamber in its goal of increasing member retention.  The work of the Ambassadors is to welcome new members to the Chamber as well as contacting new members throughout their first year with the Chamber.  They also participate in Chamber functions such as Business After Hours, Monthly Luncheons, and other Chamber events meeting and greeting each attendee.

Being an Ambassador gives you:

  • An opportunity to meet and know many members of the Fife Regional Business Community.
  • Increased visibility for yourself, your profession, and your company through your role at functions and retention work with new members.
  • Personal and professional recognition for a unique volunteer role in public relations for the business community as a Chamber of Commerce representative.

Government Affairs:  The Government Affairs Committee considers, reviews and crafts position statements on local, state and national issues that directly affect the Fife Milton Edgewood business community and strives to inform chamber members of these issues and increase overall awareness.  The Government Affairs Committee also coordinates the Annual Legislative Breakfast.

Auction Gala Committee:  The Auction Committee coordinates the Chamber’s biggest and most important FUNd-raiser of the year.  This is a FUN committee organizing a FUN event.
